From Songstress to Spa & Skincare Mogul
Meet Christina Stratton, the passionate owner of Spatheology located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC. Christina moved to Asheville with her husband and young daughter in 2005. After a very successful career in the Music & Entertainment industry in Los Angeles as a pop star in the 5 girl pop group, i5 (International 5), and a published Songwriter with Warner Chappell at Deston Songs, Christina, turned spa and skincare guru, experienced some of the most beautiful spas in the country while touring with her former girl pop group. As a result, she began to grow a deep fondness for the spa industry; the sense of peace, calm, and relaxation of these tranquil environments gave her the necessary reboot needed to survive the crazy whirlwind of the entertainment industry. Christina began learning about the spa industry and skincare, soaking up all information about natural ingredients, formulations, and applications. After the birth of her daughter, she decided to hang up her music career and follow her new found passion for the Spa and Wellness Industry.
Prior to opening Spatheology, in a serendipitous encounter after moving to Asheville, she met her soon-to-be business partner, where they created Innovative Spa Management and went on to open over 25 luxury hotel spas where Christina developed and launched their skincare line Privai.
With over 18 years of experience in the wellness and beauty industry, Christina brings her expertise and dedication to providing exceptional spa experiences in a beautiful, intimate setting. Her vision for Spatheology is rooted in creating a sanctuary where guests can escape the stresses of everyday life and carve time out for themselves for some much-needed self-care. From luxurious spa treatments to personalized skincare solutions, Christina’s mission is to enhance the guests’ well-being and leave them feeling rejuvenated and renewed. With a warm and inviting approach, Spatheology ensures that each guest receives the highest level of care and attention.
